What is Mediocrity?

Mediocrity is the quality of being average; the world is full of people who just want to go no more than the absolute minimum necessary to get by. Most of them live average lives and never reach their full potential. But Jesus says “if someone compels you to go one mile, go with him two miles.
If people were to describe your work, would excellence come to mind or simply mediocrity?
